To make a delicious cake, you need a procedure, involving layers and steps.
Well, Half Life 2's Deathmatch is that icky, gooey first layer that looks like it could be good if you eat it as is, but then a few hours/days later... yeah. Discuss, if ye will. If the following scenario is familiar to anyone, it was Yours Truly: One team losing, team members barely holding there own. Suddenly: "Oh look! I have the Crossbow! I win now!" Just some punk bragging. Until his kills go up above that of his team combined. Game tables are turned. I do love me that Crossbow ..and I know I'm not really that good... -------------------- ![]() If we were to plot the distance between where you are right now and the nearest good idea, it would describe a line too big to fit inside the universe. -- Nuklearpower.com |

And if this is familiar to you then it was I.
Suddenly out of the blue a new guy pops into the server, proceeds to pull out his pistol and proceeds to remove your team from competition. Quickly his kill to death ratio exceed 2 to one sometimes 3 or 4. As his kill count rises you realize the best weapon in the game has been in your hand the entire time. And then you are crowbarred to death because I wanted a change of pace. -------------------- ![]() |
